I know that sounds like an excuse, but is legit unreliable. I know this because my parents have a super nice (read: expensive?) scale that calculates your body fat percentage, weight and other things I do not know how to read. Their uber nice scale tells me every time that I weigh 6lbs less, than my scale at home…ya’ll 6lbs isn’t something to be “off” about…Well, at least not for me; a kid who likes to go by numbers.
When I started really trying to shed weight, I weighed 17lbs more than I do now (if I’m going by the parentals scale…if I go by mine, I’ve lost 11).
…So what’s a girl to do? I have been relying on how my clothes feel. Yesterday, I went shopping for a new dress to wear to a friend’s wedding next weekend and my normal size fit great (normally my size can sometimes be snug or I’ll blame the cut of a dress, don’t tell me you don’t do that!) and my jeans are soooo loose.
I guess I could just buy a new scale, but why do that when I can make things difficult for myself…?
How/what do you do to track your weight loss?
