Last year was the first real year I started to meal plan. Some weeks I am great at it, and other weeks, not so much. But throughout this year my goal, was to strive for progress, not perfection. I still have a lonnnng way to go with my weight loss, and finding what is right for me.
When it comes to “dieting”, I have done a lot; low-carb, low calorie, medifast shakes, weight watchers, clean eating. For me, I have learned if I can mentally just stick with IT, clean eating and lower carb is what works for me. That doesn’t mean I can’t have carbs, but my body doesn’t seem to need as many as are recommended to me, and the carbs I do consume have to be good carbs.
This past year, I discovered emeals. I know I have shared my enthusiam for emeals before, and I highly recommend them for your meal planning needs. You don’t have to be attempting to lose weight. They offer thirteen types of meal plans! And I love that not only do I get a weekly plan emailed to me, but I can change my type of plan when I choose. For example, if one week I want a clean eating meal, and then the next I want a few low-carb ideas, I can switch it up! I also love their slow cooker menu, as well.
Emeals offers 3 month, 6 month, and 12 month subscriptions. Just like any subscription, the more you pay for, the less it is. If you purchase a 12 month subscription, it is just $5/month. They also offer lunch and breakfast menus for as a little as $4/month! I have yet to use them, since it’s just Jason and I, and I can turn dinner into lunch leftovers, most days. Right now, you can save 15% off! Use promo code: DINNER15.
