On day two, we found several contenders in the Carrollwood area. I loved three of them, and the homes were less depressing than on night one. I was a happy house hunter, ya’ll. House number three is by far my favorite house to share in this “game”.
Built in 1979, House #3 is a three story home with a bitchin’ dining room overlooking the living area. It definitely needed some updates, but I was in love with the retro feel of it all. I never thought I’d be so drawn to a home.
House #3 : 3 beds, 2 baths, 1,745 sqft
Year Built: 1979
Pros: Very large, and clean lanai. Two car garage. Nice yard. Bitchin’ layout. Across the street from a park, and walking trails.
Cons: The farthest location we were willing to move. This home is located in the Carrollwood/Citrus Park area, which is where I found and liked most of our homes. But the commute to the office, as well as campus for Jason would not be ideal. That was the only real negative either of us could find for house #3.
The one tip everyone gave us was to go in person to see homes. Photos can be deceiving for a number of reasons. This home was my favorite of the three, and looking at these photos, you can’t necessarily see the potentinal in it!
