FRI-YAYYY! Even though it was just a four-day week at the j.o.b., it was a busy one, and I am ready for the weekend.
A few months ago, I was striving for more balance in my life, and I slowed things down quite a bit. But now, they’re busy again, and life is actually too busy, so I think it’s time I check-in with myself this weekend, and prioritize my life, you guys.
+ It’s unofficially summer, and that means I’m ordering my fave drink; – Shaken Iced Passion Fruit Tea Unsweetened from Starbucks. Truthfully, as far as coffee goes, I am a Dunkin’ girl all the way, but this tea is so refreshing, and I drink it way too much. You can also order it sweet, but last year while I was completing a round of Whole 30, I learned to love the unsweetened version. I also make it at home, but sometimes just quickly driving through on lunch breaks up the day.
+ We are all about the grill right now! And when I say, “we”, I mean Jason. I’ve got him smoking and/or grilling meat on Sunday (TWSS) for the week for us. All I have to make are sides to go with. I’m a happy girl. This dish is making an appearance on said grill this weekend.
+ Local friends, I am in love with Craft Street Kitchen in Oldsmar. I cannot say enough about it. I met up with my cousin, her baby, and one of my sisters for dinner this week, and their Cobb Salad is amazing. They roast the tomatoes, which…so good. My fave appetizer there is a tie between the Buffalo Cauliflower, and the Avocado Hummus (which inspired me to make myself, at home)!
+ Favorite moment this week: Attending the opening night of The Realish Housewives of South Tampa with my best friend at the Straz. The parody was hilarious, and so over-dramatic, much like the actual show(s) on Bravo. My best friend doesn’t watch the shows, and she still laughed a ton. They seem to be touring all over the country, so you should definitely see if they’re coming to your area. If they are, they’ll be The Realish Housewives of [your city]. Show runs in Tampa until June.
+ Fave blog post: My friend, Brianne, wrote this post, and it had me laughing, and is also spot on. No matter your niche, it’s a good read.

P.S. For some reason, I’m not getting my post comments emailed to me. I think it’s a plug-in clashing with this setting, but I can’t seem to fix it on my own. If I don’t reply right away, I am so sorry! If you know how to fix this in wordpress, HALP me, please!
