Cranberry-Sage (whipped) Goat-Cheese Crostini

The perfect party bite for Friendsgiving, and beyond! Toasty baguette with whipped goat cheese, and sweet cranberries - festive, and delicious!
Whipped Goat Cheese
  • 8 ounces goat cheese log
  • 3-4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • fresh lemon juice, from ½ fresh lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp honey
Cranberry-Sage Goat Cheese Crostini
  • 1 French baguette, sliced for 12
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • Whipped goat cheese (recipe above)
  • 1 14-ounce can Ocean Spray® Canned Cranberry Sauce
  • 8-10 sage leaves, chopped
  • zest of one orange, for garnish (optional)
Whipped Goat Cheese
  1. To a food processor, add in goat cheese, 2 tbsp olive oil, lemon juice, and honey. Pulse until creamy. Slowly add in 1-2 more tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil if a creamier texture is desired. Drizzle in honey to combine. Spread can be made 1-2 days in advance.
Cranberry-Sage Goat Cheese Crostini
  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Slice baguette into 12 slices. Add to parchment lined baking sheet, and drizzle with olive oil. Bake 5-7 minutes, until toasty.
  2. Remove toasted crostini from oven. Smear a generous dollop of whipped goat cheese to each crostini toast. Dollop with Ocean Spray® Canned Cranberry Sauce. Top with fresh orange zest, and sage.
