Another new grocery store in North Pinellas County! I’m a nerd for new in my ‘hood, you guys. Oldsmar, Florida has a special place in my heart. We moved to Oldsmar when I was in the 8th grade, and while I moved out at eighteen, I haven’t lived more than ten miles away from the town since living on my own.
I have a friend who is considering moving back to Oldsmar, and asked what new places there were that would entice her family to move to Oldsmar. Oh, friend – there are SO many options these days! When I was in high school, the local movie theatre was the biggest draw (also where I worked), followed by a Walmart Super Center. For a long time, those were the most exciting events in our town. Now though, we have so many more restaurants, and shops to choose from!
Including the newest shiny store: a brand new Earth Fare! I’m such a sucker for a good specialty store, and I love that more wonderful small chains are popping up in Tampa Bay. It means we, as a community, want change, and are becoming more conscious of what we put into our bodies. Times, they are a’ changin.
So! The newest Earth Fare, what’s it all about? What really sets them apart from other stores is the list of things they are free from any products containing high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, artificial colors and sweeteners, and synthetic growth hormones in fresh meat and dairy. Earth Fare offers both organic, and non-organic produce options. They have a station where you can grab pre-chopped organic veggies, which is always a nice perk. Earth Fare’s produce is sprayed with reverse osmosis water to ensure the quality of your food is never compromised. I was very impressed by this (and to be honest, how the produce was sprayed anywhere else was not something I had ever thought of).

The meat specials are great. My new place to buy all the meats.
They have some awesome deals on meat! I also like their speciality items for meat; they had caprese-stuffed pork <3

I’d shop for anything – this store isn’t local to me, however I’d easily make the trip from Tampa to check it out! Both you & my mom have had good things to say about Earth Fare.
