Fresh celery and frozen pineapple are blended together to make this Pineapple-Celery Frozen Mojito! This frothy mojito will be your new go-to summer drink!
Pineapple-Celery Frozen Mojito
This mojito is SO refreshing! Truth be told, I’m more of a “on the rocks” kind of girl, but there is something about a frothy, slushy-like bevvy with a splash (or two) or rum with fresh fruit that just screams summer!
This Pineapple-Celery Frozen Mojito is perfect for at-home happy hours on the patio, lazy days at the beach, or just because it’s the weekend. Honestly, you can make up any excuse to make a batch of these mojitos, my friend.
I’ve teamed up with Dandy® to share today’s frothy frozen mojito. I love to use their celery for this cocktail because it is naturally sweeter with less strands, making it perfect for the blender.
HOW TO MAKE THIS FROZEN MOJITO
My favorite thing about this mojito recipe is how easy it is to make! You literally add all of your ingredients into your blender and puree until smooth, but frothy. Kind of like a slushy, but with rum. I dig it.
To a blender, you will add:
- 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 2 cups chopped Dandy® celery
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup white rum
- 2ish tablespoons honey (totally optional)
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
You’ll first blend the frozen pineapple, chopped celery and mint leaves to pulse. Once smooth, you’ll blend in your rum, honey and fresh lime juice until frothy.
I love using frozen pineapple for this recipe over fresh. And that’s so we don’t have to use ice, which would water the taste down. Once blended, your Dandy® celery will add enough hydrating juice, that you don’t need ice if you’re using frozen pineapple chunks for this recipe.
For the mint, you can either muddle before adding to the blender, or simply roll the mint leaves between your hands. This will ensure that the natural juice (concentrated essential oil) from the leaves are released and you’ll be able to smell and taste the fresh mint in this This Pineapple-Celery Mojito.
HOW TO MAKE THIS A MOCKTAIL
This mojito recipe has the easiest mocktail hack ever. This Pineapple-Celery bevvy is incredibly refreshing for the summer without adding rum.
If you can’t enjoy rum (or maybe you just don’t enjoy rum at all), or have little ones at home, omitting the rum in this drink recipe will still allow for one refreshing drink to enjoy on hot summer days!
If you plan to make this a mocktail, you can add everything in the blender – no need to make in two steps.
