Sparkling Grapefruit and Orange Sangria

March is pretty much the kick-off to what I like to call, “shower season” – baby showers, bridal showers, engagement parties, etc; reasons to celebrate life in the springtime. I love this time of year, so much.

It’s possible I am biased because Jason proposed to me in March (2010) and my own bridal shower was also in March (2011). #sorrynotsorry

We have a friend’s baby shower this weekend, and I have a bridal shower to attend at the end of the month, so while I may be biased, spring really is a popular time to celebrate all these exciting occasions! Plus, the event planner in me loves a good reason to throw a soirée.

I was lucky enough to work with Amber Veatch Designs last month, to contribute a fun cocktail for her Galentine’s Day styled shoot – which was featured on The Perfect Palette, with s.t.u.n.n.i.n.g. photos by Laura Foote. I first met Amber when she agreed to help collaborate on my Friendsgiving styled shoot last year.
