Homemade Apple Butter couldn't be easier. The hardest part about making this treat is waiting for the apples to cook down in the slow-cooker!

Ingredients

  • 5 apples - cored and diced
  • cup apple cider
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoons cinnamon

Instructions

  • To your slow-cooker, add all ingredients. Cover, and cook on high 4 hours, stirring halfway.
  • Uncover and puree with an immersion blender, or food processor. Cook on high uncovered 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until thick. Will make about 2 cups (30ish tbsp).
