Instructions
chicken wings
Set your air fryer to 380 degrees F. Spray air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. Using fresh (not frozen) wings, season with salt and pepper, if desired.
Line fry basket in an even layer (may need to work in batches). Cook at 380 degrees F for 18-20 minutes, shaking basket every ten minutes. After 20ish minutes, increase temperature to 400F and cook for 10 minutes. Remove wings from air fryer and toss in teriyaki sauce, using a large bowl.
teriyaki sauce
While chicken wings are in air fryer, make teriyaki sauce. To a medium saucepan, whisk to combine all ingredients, except for arrowroot starch. Simmer on medium until sauce begins to bubble.
Once bubbling, reduce heat to low and whisk in arrowroot. Whisk constantly until sauce begins to thicken, about 3-5 minutes. Once thick, remove from heat and allow to cool 3-4 minutes. Can be made in advance.
Notes
one serving is 5 wings, should make 4 servings total, per recipe
