This easy air fryer peach dessert is warm, caramelized, and perfectly sweet. Fresh peaches brushed with butter, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Sweet, caramelized, and ready in minutes.

I am absolutely obsessed with this air fryer dessert. I love roasted peaches in the summer but I don’t always want to turn on the oven. You can (quickly!) obtain the same flavors you get from oven peaches, without actually ever having to turn on the oven.
If you love summer desserts using peaches, make peach hand pies when you’ve got more time to prep next.

ingredients to make air fryer peaches
Peaches are naturally so sweet and juicy when they’re in season, that you could air fry as-is and they’d taste amazing without anything on them. But that’s not nearly as fun as caramelizing your peaches with buttery maple syrup and cinnamon glaze! So….let’s do it right.
- ripe peaches: sliced in half with pit removed.
- olive oil or nonstick cooking spray: for the peaches in the air-fryer basket.
- butter: unsalted and melted. To brush over peaches.
- maple syrup: to caramelize the peaches as they roast in the air fryer. You can also use brown sugar or coconut sugar.
- cinnamon: mixed with the maple syrup and butter.
dairy-free or vegan swaps to this recipe
The maple syrup glaze contains butter. If you cannot have dairy or do not consume it, here are some swaps:
- If you are dairy-free: you can use ghee or vegan butter for the glaze. Look for dairy-free or vegan iced cream or whipped topping.
- If you are vegan: you can swap the butter with vegan butter. If topping with ice cream or whipped cream, use a vegan ice cream.
optional toppings:
you don’t need to add anything extra if you don’t want but if you’d like to elevate this air fryer dessert, try adding any of the following toppings.
- pistachios: crushed. Or pecans, walnuts or slivered almonds. Or rolled oats or granola.
- ice cream: vanilla, butter pecan or pistachio would all go well. Could also use whipped cream instead or forgo altogether.
- caramel sauce: you can use store bought caramel or make a batch of my caramel whiskey sauce!
- leftover maple syrup sauce: you should have some leftover sauce to drizzle on top, if you’d like (which is what I have shown in the finished dish)

how to make peaches in the air fryer
Get ready for a batch of juicy, caramelized peaches that taste like they’ve been roasted in the oven, without ever having to actually turn it on. These peaches will be ready to enjoy in under 15-minutes!
- Prep your ingredients. slice fresh peaches in half and remove the pit. Melt butter in the microwave or on stove, and then add maple syrup and cinnamon. Mix to combine.
- Brush peaches with olive oil or nonstick spray.
- Air fry peaches for 5 minutes, and then brush maple syrup mixture onto peaches and air-fry for another 5 minutes to caramelize.
- Remove from air fryer and top with ice cream, crushed nuts, etc.
how to grill peaches on the stovetop
If you don’t have an air fryer, and still don’t want to use the oven (understood!), you can quickly use a grill pan skillet on the stovetop, and achieve similar results!
- prep everything the same way you would if you were making in the air fryer.
- grill peaches cut side down on a greased grill pan for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
- flip peaches and brush with maple syrup mixture and grill for 2-3 more minutes, facing up.
- Remove and serve with your favorite toppings.

How to Store leftover Peaches
While these are best when fresh and warm, you can store leftovers in the fridge for a day or two. Warm them up in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes or stove for 2-3 minutes when it is time to eat.
