Ingredients

smoothie bowl base

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries - either a triple berry or mixed berry blend will work
  • 1 small ripe banana, frozen and sliced
  • 1/4 cup almond milk - any milk will do
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, plain

topping suggestions:

  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mixed berries - raspberry, blueberry, raspberry, sliced strawberries, etc
  • 1 tablespoon shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon granola

Instructions

  • To a blender, add frozen mixed berries, frozen banana and Greek yogurt. Blend until mixed together and thick.
  • Scrape the sides of the blender down and add almond milk to help thin slightly. You want the smoothie from the blender to be thick and sturdy but not so thick you can’t get it out of the blender. Start with 2 tablespoons almond milk and blend to combine. Add up to 1/4 cup (which is 4 tbsp) of almond milk, depending on your personal desired texture for your bowl.
  • Pour smoothie into a bowl, add your favorite toppings and dig in.
