5medium pears, peeled, cored and cubed - Bartlett or Bosc suggested
1/2cuplemon juice
1/2cuphoney
1tablespoonground cinnamon
2cinnamon sticks
pinchof salt
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
Instructions
To your slow-cooker add diced pears, lemon juice, honey, cinnamon, cinnamon sticks and a pinch of salt. Mix to combine and cover with lid. Cook on HIGH 4 hours, stirring halfway.
Uncover, stir in vanilla extract and remove cinnamon sticks. Puree with an immersion blender, or food processor.
Cook on HIGH uncovered 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until pear butter has thickened.

one batch makes approximately ~2 cups (30ish tablespoons)
