Quick + Easy Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus
These air fried asparagus bundles with prosciutto are so crispy and flavorful, you’ll want to eat them straight from the basket.
How to make this recipe:
- Trim ends about a fourth of the way up.
- Try and make sure asparagus stalks are close to the same length for prosciutto bundles.
- Wrap 3-4 asparagus stalks in one slice of salty prosciutto.

To keep this asparagus recipe whole30:
make sure your prosciutto contains pork, salt, and water only. Some brands will only have pork and salt, which is also whole30 approved. You just want to make sure that your prosciutto does not contain: sugar, dextrose, or any other ingredient than the ones just mentioned.
Make sure your nonstick spray for the air fryer, contains one ingredient: the oil your using. You can use avocado oil, or olive oil spray.
What if I don’t have an air fryer?
You can absolutely still make these prosciutto wrapped asparagus bundles, using the oven!

Preheat your oven to 425F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Trim ends about a fourth of the way up.
- Try and make sure asparagus stalks are close to the same length for prosciutto bundles.
- Wrap 3-4 asparagus stalks in one slice of salty prosciutto.
- Roast for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and serve immediately.
If you’d like to make these prosciutto wrapped asparagus bundles ahead of time for easy meal prep, or party prep, you can air fry (or roast) 1-2 days in advance. Reheat in your air fryer for 1-2 minutes at 350 degrees. Optional but delicious; squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice for extra flavor. This asparagus recipe couldn’t be easier. Quick + easy!

- 1 lb asparagus - end trimmed
- 6 ounces prosciutto
- nonstick cooking spray, for air fryer - avocado oil or olive oil spray
- juice of 1/2 lemon, to garnish - optional
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350F.
- While air fryer preheats, trim asparagus ends about a fourth of the way up. Wrap 3-4 asparagus stalks in one slice of salty prosciutto.
- Place 3-4 bundles, depending on size to air fryer basket. Spritz with nonstick cooking spray. You may need to make in batches, depending on basket size.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes, until prosciutto is crisp. Remove and squeeze fresh lemon juice over bundles, if desired.
