Holiday season is upon us, friends! But seriously, HOW is it November? From now until pretty much the end of the year, every weekend is planned already, which is just insane. We have several birthday parties to attend, we host Thanksgiving for my in-laws (the weekend before), JASON GRADUATES LAW SCHOOL, and we plan to have our annual holiday party. This is also the first year we have family from up north coming to stay with us over Christmas break, so it’s going to (literally) be a full house.
It’s so easy with all these festive celebrations coming up to over-indulge in both eating and drinking. It doesn’t take much for me to get derailed, and so I need a plan. A batch of Sparkling Berry and Pomegranate Mocktails is a great choice to keep the balance with it all. Fresh pomegranate juice, DASANI® Sparkling Berry, with cranberries for garnish and taste – the easiest mocktail, made in just five minutes. I can’t promise everything else you or I are prepping this season will be as easy, but at least you know this drink will be. Plus, you’ll be extra hydrated with DASANI® Sparkling water – holla.
I used to cheat and buy store-bought pomegranate juice, until I saw this YouTube clip, and learned how easy it is. If I can make something simply from scratch, that will always win. I love adding a splash of fresh juice to one half (6 ounces) can of DASANI® Sparkling water, before adding my favorite garnishes.
- 2 12 oz cans DASANI® Sparkling Berry, chilled
- 4 ounces pomegranate juice, fresh
- cranberries, to garnish
- fresh thyme, to garnish
- To a highball glass, add ½ serving of DASANI® Sparkling Berry, 1 oz pomegranate juice, and 2-3 cranberries. Top with 1-2 sprigs of thyme for garnish. Will make four mocktails. Enjoy!
