These Greek turkey burgers are made with lean ground turkey, Mediterranean-inspired seasonings, and topped with a creamy whipped feta spread. They’re an easy weeknight dinner that delivers all the flavors of a Greek burger without much effort.

Turkey burgers are such an easy weeknight dinner and perfect for weekend grilling. I love making a batch of juicy turkey burgers and changing up the toppings so dinner never feels repetitive.
These Greek turkey burgers are topped with a creamy whipped feta spread that adds the perfect salty, tangy bite. Inspired by Mediterranean flavors, they’re delicious served with air fryer French fries and an easy side salad for an easy weeknight meal, or paired with my Greek orzo pasta salad for summer cookouts and weekend gatherings.
Ingredients for Greek Turkey Burgers with Whipped Feta

These Greek turkey burgers use Dijon mustard to help keep the patties juicy, along with Mediterranean-inspired seasonings like oregano and garlic for plenty of flavor. If you’re pressed for time, pre-made turkey burger patties work just fine here.
The whipped feta spread is tangy, creamy, and bright with fresh lemon juice; the perfect topping for these Greek turkey burgers. It’s also delicious on chicken burgers, lamb burgers, sandwiches, wraps, or as a dip for fresh vegetables. The sky’s really the limit with this whipped feta spread.
For the Whipped Feta Spread
I’ve tested this whipped feta with both cream cheese and Greek yogurt, and personally prefer Greek yogurt paired with creamy block feta for a lighter texture and tangy flavor.
- Feta cheese: The star ingredient. I prefer a block of feta packed in brine because it blends into a smoother, creamier spread with the best flavor. Crumbled feta works in a pinch, but block feta is worth seeking out for the creamiest whipped feta.
- Greek yogurt: Adds a tangy, creamy texture without making the spread too heavy. I like 2% Greek yogurt here, but full-fat works well too.
- Olive oil: Traditional whipped feta is made with olive oil instead of cream cheese, giving it a silky texture and authentic Mediterranean flavor.
- Lemon juice: Brightens the spread and helps loosen it to the perfect consistency.
- Garlic: One or two cloves add just enough savory flavor. Measure with your heart.
For the Greek Turkey Burgers
These simple ingredients come together to create juicy Greek turkey burgers that are perfect for grilling or cooking on the stovetop.
- Ground turkey: I recommend 93/7 ground turkey for juicy burgers. Leaner 99% turkey tends to dry out more easily. Ground chicken can also be substituted if preferred.
- Dijon mustard: My secret for juicy turkey burgers. It adds moisture and complements the Mediterranean flavors better than yellow mustard.
- Mediterranean seasonings: Dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper give these burgers their classic Greek-inspired flavor.
For Serving
- Burger buns: A toasted brioche bun is my favorite, but lettuce wraps work great for a lighter option.
- Tomatoes: Thick slices add freshness and a little sweetness.
- Red onion: Thinly sliced red onion gives the burgers a little bite without overpowering the whipped feta.
- Arugula: Peppery arugula pairs perfectly with the creamy feta spread and Mediterranean flavors.
How to Make Whipped Feta Spread
Whipped feta couldn’t be easier to make. Simply add the feta, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and garlic to a food processor and blend until combined. With the processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil and continue blending until smooth and creamy. There is nothing more satisfying to me than watching this thick feta spread transform into a light, fluffy whip!

- I like to spread a generous smear of whipped feta on a toasted (or grilled!) brioche bun, or directly on the turkey burger patty if you’re serving these as a burger bowl or lettuce wrap.
- Store any leftover whipped feta in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

The whipped feta MAKES this burger. Hope you enjoy, Patricia! xo
Oh my! I was never a fan of feta until a few years ago so this looks amazing!
I don’t like their turkey burgers (actually have found none pre-packaged that I like, so I just make mine) but WHIPPED FETA. Great idea.
I completely understand – I normally am right there with ya! But yes whipped feta is amazing! I’m just sad I didn’t start doing this much sooner
