My love for a tasty crostini knows no bounds, my friends. At some point in my life, I’d like to publish a cookbook full of all the possible crostini concoctions. Gah, there’s an idea for my kind of party; crostinis ery’where.
I can’t wait to attend this year’s Food and Wine Conference. I had such a wonderful time last year, and made loads of new friends p.s. come with me! Save $50 on your conference ticket with my code: FWC15crewsN There were tons of contests last year, and I never had the chance to enter any.
…this year, I am making sure to get my recipe entries posted. I’d love nothing more than to win the reimbursement of my own conference ticket, as well as other ah-mazing prizes! First up: Certified Angus Beef.
We love beef at Casa de Crews (we also love chicken, pork, fish…we don’t really discriminate around these parts against protein), and I knew instantly I wanted to create a fun party bite showcasing steak on a toasted crostini. I originally thought, “I am going to make a steak and bleu cheese bite!”, but then I saw a few hundred other folks on the internet beat me to what I thought would have been an original idea, #womp.
So I came up with the next best thing, a Steak Caesar Salad Crostini. This little bite is packed with so much flavor – juicy, tender Certified Angus teak, creamy Caesar dressing, crisp romaine, shaved Parmesan and a toasty, crunchy baguette! The crostini makes me think of big crouton, which is one of my fave ingredients in any Caesar salad.

Obviously I’ve been on a Caesar Salad kick lately – great minds think alike! Love your crostini, what a great idea!!
Wow. I think I need to put this on the menu for my reunion party.
Yes, definitely! I promise everyone will love it!
This looks amazing!!! I love how you combined all this into, well this! It’ll keep me from stealing ALL the croutons from the salad bowl (not that I do that…).
Hahaha, I don’t steal all the croutons from the salad either…wink, wink. Thanks for stopping by, Anne!
I do love a crostini. This is a perfect topping!
I want a crostini party someday!
This sounds so incredibly delicious!! And is so pretty too!
Haha! I’m always getting that, “Hey look at this genius idea I have!” feeling only to realize it’s been done a few dozen times already. This really is an amazing take on crostini! I love Caesar anything and adding steak makes it a meal! 🙂
I was so excited about my first idea – but then again these bites are addicting, so it all worked out in the end!
Yummie! I love anything caesar.
