March is pretty much the kick-off to what I like to call, “shower season” – baby showers, bridal showers, engagement parties, etc; reasons to celebrate life in the springtime. I love this time of year, so much.
It’s possible I am biased because Jason proposed to me in March (2010) and my own bridal shower was also in March (2011). #sorrynotsorry
We have a friend’s baby shower this weekend, and I have a bridal shower to attend at the end of the month, so while I may be biased, spring really is a popular time to celebrate all these exciting occasions! Plus, the event planner in me loves a good reason to throw a soirée.
I was lucky enough to work with Amber Veatch Designs last month, to contribute a fun cocktail for her Galentine’s Day styled shoot – which was featured on The Perfect Palette, with s.t.u.n.n.i.n.g. photos by Laura Foote. I first met Amber when she agreed to help collaborate on my Friendsgiving styled shoot last year. Local friends: Amber is crazy talented, so if you need design ideas or help executing a gorgeous little shindig (big or small), contact Amber. You won’t be sorry!
So while Galentine’s Day may have come and gone, the color palette, sangria recipe, and gorgeous photos are just the inspiration you need for any fun spring shindigs you plan to host this season. Plus, rosé.
